Rock 101 Music Camp See All Times

POP ROCKS July 9, 2018

POP ROCKS. Often Rock and Pop cross over genres. So, from Divas of Pop, like Lady Gaga, to superstars like Michael Jackson, we are going to pay tribute to POP stars who also ROCK - a different twist on our rock-n-roll camps. Some experience necessary.

We are looking forward to an awesome week of rock-n-roll!

Camps meet Monday thru Friday. 9am - 3pm. A small concert in our studio to highlight songs learned during the week will take place Friday at 3pm for family/friends to enjoy!

Students work in a hands-on atmosphere that includes:

  • Learning the nuts and bolts of live performance
  • Studio/band rehearsal time
  • Individual and group instruction from our highly skilled SoR staff
  • Music theory and Rock & Roll music appreciation
  • Interacting with other young musicians
  • A LIVE rock show performance for your friends and family
  • Having fun!
Equipment to bring: None required. For guitar players, if your child has a guitar, they should bring it to camp. If not, we have guitars they can use. Amps, keyboards, drums, and microphones are set up in the rooms.

Lunch/Snacks: Please be sure to bring a lunch Monday thru Thursday. We will provide lunch on Friday. If you have special dietary restrictions, please let us know. We do have vending machines with snacks and sodas if the kids want to bring money.

Drop Off/Pick Up: If you need early drop off or late pick up, please let us know.

Concert: The Pop Rocks concert is Friday at School of Rock San Antonio at 3pm. The kids can dress as Rock Stars and make this a blast!

We will be in touch with all who enroll the week before camp starts. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please give us a call at 210-314-7671.
